Two very important points need to be made here:

1) Not all calories are created equal. Simply put, it is much more nutritionally effective to eat 120 calories of cooked chicken than to consume one 12oz can of coke at approximately 120 calories. At Cabell's Iron Nutrition, we supply you with less processed, calorically efficient food to help you achieve your goals.

2) It takes a "special" type of person to eat bland chicken, rice, and broccoli for every meal. For 99.9% of us, that type of diet is not sustainable. We are human and we have cravings. Our menu is not only diverse, it is also packed with flavor. We are confident that you will not get bored with our food and that the results will speak for our meals' efficacy.

How long do I heat my meals in the microwave?

To heat your meal, remove lid and place in microwave. For best results, heat 1 minute at a time, stirring in between each minute. Once heated through, place lid back on container and let rest for 2 minutes.

Can I heat my meal in the oven?

Yes, but you must remove the meal from the original container and place it onto an oven-safe tray.

How do I know how much calories, protein, etc I need?

There are lots of variables to determine how many calories one should consume in a day. Everything from age, fitness level, gender, etc. Luckily, there are calculators online to make this process simple. Google search "BMI calculator" or download the MyFitnessPal app and input your info. This will give you your maintenance calories, or the amount of calories needed to maintain your current weight. 

If your goal is to lose weight, decrease your maintenance calories by 10% - 20%.

Example: if your maintenance calories are 2,800 then decrease this amount by 280 - 560 calories per day

Do I have to preorder my meals?

No, you don't have to preorder your meals. We have meals ready for purchase for walk-in customers.

 

For orders of 5 or more meals, preorder would be appreciated. We can have those ready for pickup upon arrival. Simply text your order to 270-599-4011 or order online.
